Tenuta dell’Ornellaia is one of the most renowned and well-known wineries in all of Italy, symbol of a wine-growing area, that of Bolgheri, which over a few decades has established itself at the top of the world quality rankings for the production of great red wines. Here the “Le Volte” is born, a blend where the softness of Merlot combines with the intensity of Cabernet Sauvignon united with the strength of Sangiovese, creating a label that reflects the philosophy of the winery, always attentive to providing balance and concentration to the cultivated grapes. An elegant and precise product, well defined in every organoleptic component, both in the varietal and primary aromas, as well as in the secondary and tertiary ones.

“Le Volte” from Tenuta dell’Ornellaia is a red made from a careful blend of international and indigenous grape varieties. Merlot, Sangiovese, and Cabernet Sauvignon are meticulously selected during the harvest and vinified separately in small steel tanks, undergoing both alcoholic and malolactic fermentation. Then we proceed with aging, which takes place in both used barriques and cement tanks, lasting for 10 months.

"Le Volte" is a label produced by Tenuta dell'Ornellaia that impresses from the very color in the glass, characterized by a beautiful ruby red, particularly intense. The olfactory spectrum is structured around notes of underbrush fruit, interspersed with floral aromas and sweet spices, deriving from aging in wood. On the palate, it is full-bodied, marked by a great softness and roundness that make the drinking experience incredibly smooth and flowing. A red to drink right away or to keep in the cellar for a few more years, to taste it in a more evolved and mature version: in both cases, it will not disappoint you.
