The Franciacorta Brut Saten by Mosnel is born in the heart of Franciacorta. The long winemaking tradition that involves the work of the Barboglio family began in 1836 with the planting of the first vineyards of native grapes. More than a century later, in 1968, they adopted the newly established DOC Franciacorta, and since 1976 the name of the winery became Mosnel, a word of Celtic origin meaning stony place, the location where the current building stands. Today, the fifth generation is at work: Giulia, engaged in the commercial sector, and Lucia, who is dedicated to marketing and public relations. The staff also includes experienced and competent agronomists and oenologists who assist in the project to carry on a quality work, paying attention to every single detail.
The pure Chardonnay grapes of the Franciacorta Brut Saten by Mosnel come from vineyards that extend over approximately 41 hectares entirely planted, which are further divided into 18 plots. They are completely cultivated following the dictates of organic methods. The soil is composed of layers of recommended with light and fresh cream-based appetizers, smoked salmon, and fresh cheeses; also excellent with first courses dressed with shellfish and mollusks and dishes based on seasonal vegetables. Perfect for accompanying celebrations and family occasions, sipping a product that is the result of a centuries-old tradition in the world of winemaking.
