The red "Sul Vulcano" by Donnafugata is a label that well expresses the face of Etna wines, characterized by elegant and fresh profiles. We are, in fact, faced with the peculiarity of a mountain viticulture practiced in the center of the Mediterranean, in a truly unique microclimate in the world. The wine has a light and bright ruby red color. On the nose, it recalls floral scents, herbal aromas, aromas of small berries, slightly spicy notes, and mineral sensations. On the palate, it is medium-bodied, with dense and fine tannins, delicate fruit, and a savory and refreshing finish.
wine matures for 14 months, part in steel tanks and part in second or third passage French oak barriques and finishes aging with 7 months in bottle before marketing. The red "Sul Vulcano" by Donnafugata is a label that well expresses the face of Etna wines, characterized by elegant and fresh profiles.
