Champagne Special Cuvée elegant, spicy, structured and velvety
The Champagne Brut Special Cuvée is the symbol of the great Bollinger Maison, a star of the Champagne. This Special Cuvée was produced the first time in 1911 thanks to the suggestion of a Bollinger family’s British agent and now It is the great representative champagne of the Maison.
The Champagne Brut Special Cuvée is the result of the delicate blending between harvest grapes and reserve wines, including some, aged in magnums for more than 15 years in Bollinger's cellars. The grapes come from the three typical varieties of the region (Pinot Noit, Pinot Meunier and Chardonnay) grown in the prestogious cru of the Maison. An aging for more than twice the time required by the appellation concludes the production process and give unique characteristics to the Champagne.
The Champagne Brut Special Cuvée Bollinger illuminates the glass shining in gold color, livened by a very fine perlage. It enchants smell with scients of ripe fruit, spices, cooked apple. Then this Champagne envelops the palate with velvety touch, revealing a perfect combination of structure, length and vivacity: spices and fruity aromas of pear and walnut come together and take part in the great magic of the Special Cuvée.
