The Catarratto "Lucido" by De Bartoli is a white wine by the great quality/price ratio which is characterized by an intense fruity bouquet and pleasing aromas of lemon zest and green apple that is able to deliver as soon as you run a bit in the calyx. We are faced with another example of the success of the winery De Bartoli; a successful result of stubbornness, strength, pride and passion by Marco De Bartoli; a successful result of experience and foresight that Marco De Bartoli was able to get into the world of wine, where he earned a prominent place for having pioneered new techniques of winemaking and for giving luster to shackle it deserves. The Catarratto "Lucido" by De Bartoli comes from the vine of Cataratto Lucido; Guyot in a vineyard on sandy soil and offering limestone, with 3500 vines planted, a yield of 40hl per hectare. The harvest of Cataratto "Lucido" by De Bartoli takes place at the end of the first week of September and the clusters follow the process of vinification, with the spontaneous fermentation in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks due to natural yeasts and, with the use of minimal doses of sulfites, and the aging takes place for 7 months in steel tanks on the lees. We are faced with a Wine from Agriculture Winemaking Traditional, Marco De Bartoli has been able to shape and which has been able to offer lovers of Sicilian white. A Cataratto "Lucido" with good length and with a pleasant freshness and a nice wake mineral.
